Melinda has her baby, Aiden (Connor Gibbs), and the show "jumps" five years. This season is the most exciting ever where the shadows and the shinnies appear. During the season Melinda tries to find out more about the shadows with the help of Carl, one of the Guardians and a ghost that she previously helped. In the final episodes Melinda starts to lose the ability to tell what's fake and what's real. In the season finale she is posessed by the shadows and there's the final war between The Shinnies and The Shadows.
